The story
It started small.
A cafe inside an office building.
01
Two siblings.
Two dishes.
Rick and Mimi opened a quiet little cafe inside a Montreal office building. The menu was small. The room was smaller. But two dishes Général Tao and peanut-butter dumplings kept the lunch crowd coming back.
02
Lunch became catering.
Regulars brought colleagues. Colleagues brought their offices. Soon, other companies in the building were asking for trays Tuesday lunch meetings, Friday team events, holiday parties. Catering wasn't a plan. It was a response.
03
Then came Lucerne.
A real kitchen. Real seating. Room for the menu to stretch Sichuan shrimp, Malaysian curry, Korean fried chicken, Japanese roast-beef poutine. Quebec terroir, pan-Asian heart.
04
And One Babo joined the room.
Bubble tea, the One Babo way pearls, splash, character. The drinks side of the room. A second love letter to the same neighborhood.
